Where Does Fat Go When You Lose Weight?

The fate of the weight that we lose

burn fats

A survey included 150 doctors, dietitians, and personal trainers on how to burn stored body fat, In other words, when you lose weight, where does the fat go after losing weight?

The result was surprising, only three of them gave the correct answer.

The most common misconception was the conversion of fats into energy, while others believed that fat turns into muscle, which is impossible, while others assumed that it comes out through the colon.

The question now is if fats don't convert to energy or muscle or go down the toilet, where do they go?

Facts about fat metabolism:

Most people think that the lost  fats when losing weight is converted into energy but the correct answer is that the fate of fats is divided into two parts, one is converted into (84%) carbon dioxide that exits through the lungs into the air. while the rest of it becomes (16%) water that it mixes in the Blood circulation and exits from the body through urine, sweat, or tears.

The energy is produced as a result of this transformation.

The elimination rate of these byproducts is very high during exercises.

The body stores excess energy, which it usually gets from calories provided by fats or sugars, in fat cells.

Your body stores energy in the form of fat to ensure that its future energy needs are covered.

To boost weight loss, you need to eat fewer calories than you burn.

A daily deficit of 500 calories are a good starting point for significant fat loss.

During movement, muscles need more energy and if the body used all the sugar and carbohydrates found in the blood, it will be forced to use the accumulated fats in the body as a source of energy.

burn fats

so there are tow important things to lose weight:

1-     1- a good diet program,  you have to eat fewer calories than you burn.

2-    2- exercising regularly makes your body burn fats quicker.

10 compelling reasons to drink more water:

the importance of drinking water

drink water

Drinking water is very important to maintain the vital functions of the body, especially during the summer.

Your body is made of 55–75% water , depending on your age.

Doctors and nutritionists recommend that a healthy man drink about 3.7 liters of water per day, while it is recommended that women drink about 2.7 liters per day.

But you must take into account that this amount includes the rest of the fluid that the body gets, which gets 20% to 30% of the water through food, and you can get more water from other drinks such as juice, tea, and milk.

There is no specific rule for determining the quantities required to drink, there are many factors that affect the body’s need for water, such as weight, physical activity and temperature, illness and pregnancy...

Feeling thirsty is the main factor in the body's need for water to maintain the level of moisture.

Urine color also is an indicator of the body's need for water, whenever its color darker, it means the body demands more water.

Pay attention: drinking big amounts of water than necessary has negative effects, especially on some patients

Benefits of drinking water:

2-Lose excess weight:

Drinking water is important to get rid of excess weight, as water is an alternative to drinks that contain a lot of calories, and water helps to lose appetite as it helps to feel full in the stomach.

Studies have shown that people who consume 2 or 3 additional cups of water per day have less fat, sugar, and salt in their blood, while achieving higher rates of burning calories.

3-Better joint performance:

Water forms a large part of the formation of joint cartilage, which helps absorb shock and make bone movements smoother. And drinking water reduces the severity of suffering from gout.

4-Helps Detoxification:

Water helps the kidneys remove waste products from the blood. If the kidneys do not get enough water, this waste can be gathering with acids, causing the kidneys to become clogged with proteins known as myoglobin. Dehydration can also lead to kidney stones and urinary tract infections.

5-Improved heart function:

Not drinking enough amount of water leads to mild dehydration,

affects the blood vessels and weakens them with the same effect as smoking on them.

6-Increase the Focus:

When the amount of water is low in the body, some people suffer from a lack of concentration or not remembering things easily.

These problems can be avoided by drinking an adequate amount of water.

7-Effective for headaches:

Headache is another symptom of dehydration, as the cause of headaches, is often not drinking enough water.

For this, be careful to drink 8-10 cups of water daily to avoid headaches.

8-protecting the skin:

Drinking water helps moisturize the skin, get rid of pimples, reduce the appearance of signs of aging and get rid of skin cracks.

9-Important for the digestive system:

It helps in better digestion of food and contributes to the treatment of stomach acid problems, as well as it helps to get rid of constipation.

10-Water boosts your energy:

Lack of water in the body and dehydration leads to lower energy levels, which makes the body in a state of fatigue and exhaustion

Drink enough amount of water daily, to maintain the level of the heart rate and blood pressure rate, which helps to increase the energy and activity of the body to perform daily activities with high efficiency.

Characteristics of oily skin:

- Oily skin has large pores and it is visible.

Determine the type of skin by a simple method:

If you are confused about it and you cannot know your skin type despite your reading of all skin types, do not worry there is a simple method through which you can find out your skin type and it is as the following:

- Wash your face well with water and face lotion, then dry it with a soft, clean towel, Leave your face for an hour without applying any cream or makeup on it.

- Hold a soft paper and wipe through it on the following areas of your face, forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks.

- Carefully examine the traces of these areas on the soft paper, and then you will be able to determine your skin type according to the following results:

1- If you have oily skin, you will find traces of oil on the nose, forehead, cheeks, and chin areas as well.

2- If you have combination  skin, the effects of fat will be limited to some areas as the nose and forehead, chin while the rest of the areas such as the cheeks you will find it dry.

3- If your skin is   dry type, you will not find any traces of oil on your face, but you will find the soft paper  completely dry, in exchange, you will find a few white peels.
